Amy Julliette Lefévre has always been interested in beauty—she used to experiment with yellow eyeshadow as a child—but she didn’t have a true understanding of makeup and hair products until she started modeling. “I didn’t know which foundation was best for me or what the difference between full coverage and medium coverage was,” she says. “I’d ask the makeup artist and hairstylist on set with me so many questions about products, snap a picture of their recommendations, and then I’d go out and buy it.”
Her interest in skin care is a bit more recent. “My cousin Sarah is obsessed with skin care, and up until six months ago, I was honestly putting whatever on my face,” Amy says. “She’s been helping me create content, so we’ve been working together more closely lately, and her obsession has rubbed off on me—I’m so into doing deep dives on products now and really paying attention to the different formulations.”
